The Sea Lover is a 40ft Air Conditioned 1986 custom built Sport Fisher powered by a Mack 800 HP Turbo Diesel. She cruises at 23 knots (26 mph) to reach the most dynamic fishing grounds in the shortest amount of time. She is outfitted with Penn and Shimano tackle and light spinning gear. The Sea Lover has all the latest navigational and fish finding equipment on board. Crew safety is of great importance while aboard the Sea Lover. All safety equipment is inspected regularly by Captain David and the U.S.C.G.
Sea Lover Sport Fishing is entering the new millennium by instructing the angler in the technique of hooking and releasing big game fish and promoting Billfish preservation. We support both the International Game Fish Association, and the Billfish Foundation. We make every effort to help conserve the Billfish population for the future generations to enjoy.
Your Captain David Stokes has been fishing offshore Ponce Inlet since 1975. Experienced and successful, Captain David is a commercial fisherman as well. He also specializes in fishing tournaments. Captain David and his mate strive to make your day an exciting one, and return to the dock with a fine catch of fish.
